Client Support Team is part of Client Lifecycle Management Division which is situated within the Corporate and Investment Banking Division of MUFG Bank. However, this function acts as a centralized 1st line support team, providing support to both to both MUFG Bank London and MUFG Securities. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: This role is to support Client Support team in the planning and execution of the related activities across the required business lines. As a significant support function, interacting with the customer and internal stakeholders, customer experience is paramount for the team. This individual will be a point of contact for a number of desks in relation to client management related activities including the management of end to end onboardng for new clients and new product set ups. Delivery of these activities and proficient management Information is essential to succeeding in this area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Point of contact for end to end onboarding co ordination: drive liaison with KYC, Legal, Credit Regulatory and operational teamsProactively find solutions to reduce time to market for onboardingIdentifying opportunities for improving our end-to-end customer experienceDevelop a good understanding of key systems and end to end process across Bank and SecuritiesCo-ordination with internal teams with regards lifecycle management related activities e.g. account opening & closing, RMA Set up, mandate changes, other operational set up,Direct interaction with client regarding end to end onboardingMaintain and Publish meaningful MI relating to Client Support ActivitiesPrepare GCARS (internal Credit System) applicationson a timely basis, ensuring accuracy of financial statement input for Borrower Ratings and correct facility details for Credit Applicationsfor new transactions.Tracking the teams applications through the credit lifecycle to ensure completion according to schedule and liaising with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Credit Officers etc) for additional information (financial statements, facility details, internal documentation sign offs) where necessaryPrepare Funds liquidity, fee notifications and fee accruals for new transactionsWORK EXPERIENCE: Functional / Technical Competencies: Proficient in Excel and WordRelevant industry experience and/or experience of working in a support teamSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Functional / Technical Competencies: Essential: Good multitasking skills and task management strategiesAbility to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent Microsoft Office skills Excel (data manipulation, lookups, pivot tables) and Powerpoint (Clear, concise, well formatted reporting).Excellent Attention to detail.Self-motivated to find solutionsPERSONAL REQUIREMENTS: Good communication skillsResults driven, with a strong sense of accountabilityA proactive, motivated approachExcellent attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordinglyA structured and logical approach to workGood problem solving skillsA creative and innovative approach to workGood interpersonal skillsThe ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlinesA calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurized environmentStrong Excel & Word skillsPERFORMANCE AND DUTIES: The role holder will be assessed in accordance with their employing entitys performance framework and process with relevant input obtained from the dual hatting entity as relevant.
