We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer who can design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise and industrial networks. Job Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wireless Networks. Install and configure Layer-2 and Layer-3 switches. Configure and troubleshoot enterprise routers. Configure VLANs, Trunk Ports, Inter-VLAN Routing, and STP. Configure Static Routing and Dynamic Routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). Configure DHCP, DNS, NAT, PAT, and ACLs. Configure and manage enterprise firewalls. Configure VPNs (Site-to-Site and Remote Access). Configure Port Forwarding and NAT rules. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues. Perform bandwidth monitoring and network optimization. Monitor network health using monitoring tools. Maintain structured cabling and network racks. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
