Role Overview: As the North Finance Head for our esteemed Professional Services Firm, you will be the driving force behind all financial operations within the North region. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing financial planning, reporting, and control activities, ensuring the financial health and strategic alignment of the region. You will collaborate closely with regional leadership, practice heads, and the central finance team to provide insightful financial analysis and guidance. Your expertise will directly impact strategic decision-making, profitability, and sustainable growth across the North region. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of the annual budget and financial forecasts for the North region, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall strategic objectives. - Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insightful commentary and recommendations to regional leadership. - Manage the financial accounting and reporting functions for the North region, ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. - Drive the implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls to safeguard the firm's assets and ensure the integrity of financial information. - Partner with practice heads to develop pricing strategies and improve project profitability, providing financial insights and support for business development initiatives. - Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. - Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers. Required Skillset: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a reputed institution. - Minimum 15-20 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity within a professional services firm. - Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, enabling accurate and insightful financial analysis. - Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues. - Deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, including IFRS and Indian GAAP. - Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. .
