Vice President Finance

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic finance leader to join our core team as AVP/VP, Finance. An ideal candidate will be a seasoned Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of experience, ideally in high-growth startups. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built institutional-grade finance operations in a startup environment. Core Responsibilities Financial Controllership & Governance Build and enforce internal controls, SOPs, approval matrices, and governance frameworksOwn end-to-end accounting, monthly/quarterly closes, and financial reportingEnsure accurate, audit-ready books with strong Ind AS complianceLead statutory, tax, internal, and investor audits Ensure compliance across GST, TDS, FEMA, and company lawFP&A, Cash Flow & Discipline Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planningOwn working capital management, fund utilization, and runway trackingDrive cost optimization, KPI tracking, and unit economics visibilityPartner with business leaders on financial decision-makingFundraising & Capital Strategy Lead equity fundraising (Series C and beyond) and structured debt initiativesSupport investor due diligence with robust financial data and reconciliationsSystems, Scale & Leadership Own ERP systems, finance automation, and reporting infrastructureBuild and lead a high-performing finance and accounting teamAct as a finance partner to founders and cross-functional leadersWhy HouseEazy High-impact role with ownership of financial integrity and governanceOpportunity to build Series C+ finance foundations & design systems, and controls from a scale-first perspective Work in a culture that values ownership, speed, and accountability .
