Role Description The Workday HCM Architect will serve as a key technical and functional expert for Workday Human Capital Management, leading the design and optimization of HCM solutions. This contract, remote role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architectures, configuring Workday modules, and guiding integration with other enterprise systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating architectural designs, overseeing solution development, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring that Workday HCM aligns with broader HR and business strategies. The architect will also coordinate with project managers and technical teams to support implementation timelines, quality standards, and best practices in Workday governance. Qualifications Strong background in HCM solution Architecture and Architectural Design, including end-to-end Workday HCM design and configuration. Experience in Software Development related to enterprise HR systems, with familiarity in Workday tools, reporting, and customization. Proficiency in system Integration, including API-based and middleware integrations between Workday and other business applications. Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and delivery of Workday HCM projects or enhancements. Hands-on experience in Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Absence, Talent, Compensation, etc.) and knowledge of HR processes and best practices. Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment, communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., Workday Pro or partner certifications) and a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or a related field are beneficial. Experience in digital transformation initiatives and prior work with global or complex organizational structures is a plus. .
