What you'll do : - Develop new BE functionalities working closely with the FE team. - Contribute to the expansion of NRPS scope. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Python, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability within a cloud-native architecture. - Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to develop new backend functionalities and deliver end-to-end product features aligned with business requirements. - Contribute to the enhancement and expansion of the Connect platform, supporting the development of a unified global data ecosystem powered by modern technologies such as Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake. - Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle DB, including query tuning, data modeling, performance optimization, and integration with backend services. - Participate in Agile development practices and CI/CD processes, including code reviews, automated testing, deployment automation, and continuous improvement of engineering standards. - Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and best practices, leveraging tools such as Scala, Databricks, Trino, and Hive to improve platform capabilities, scalability, and operational efficiency. Qualifications : Were looking for people who have 6+ years of experience in : - Excellent level of experience with Python & Oracle DB. - Knowledge in Trino, Hive and Oracle would be a plus. - An experience in Scala and Databricks is appreciated. - Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business. - Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
