Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Microservices & Modern Web Applications) Location: Hyderabad, India Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong experience in Java 8/17, Spring Boot, Akka, React/Angular, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and modern web applications, working across both frontend and backend layers. This individual will collaborate closely with architects, product owners, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-premise and cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, and Scala Build highly concurrent, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems using Akka (Actors, Streams, Cluster) Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Build and integrate RESTful and event-driven APIs with frontend applications Implement asynchronous and reactive programming models Develop reusable UI components and frontend frameworks following modern design patterns Collaborate with architects, UX/UI designers, and product teams on requirements analysis and system design Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices Implement unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance, usability, and reliability Follow DevOps and CI/CD practices for automated builds and deployments Ensure application security, accessibility, and compliance with enterprise standards Support on-premises and cloud-native application development and deployment in Azure environments Required Skills Backend Development Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 and/or Java 17 Extensive experience with Spring Boot Extensive experience in Akka: Akka Actors Akka Streams Akka Cluster Experience designing and implementing microservices applications Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming Knowledge of CQRS and Event Sourcing Hands-on experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, JSON, and Protobuf Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cassandra, CosmosDB) Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka) Frontend Development Strong experience with React.js and/or Angular Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, NgRx, or Context API Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful and WebSocket services Familiarity with component-based architecture and reusable UI frameworks Experience implementing responsive and cross-browser compatible web applications Understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards (WCAG) DevOps & Cloud Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar CICD tools) Experience with Git-based source control and branching strategies Experience working with Azure, or GCP cloud services Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) Testing Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing frameworks Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium Understanding of automated testing and quality engineering practices. .
