SIEM / SOC Analyst

Job DescriptionRole: SIEM/SOC Analyst Specialist Experience: 7+ years Location: Bangalore Notice period: Immediate - 15 Days ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and manage the Seceon SIEM/SOAR primary platform, ensuring optimal performance and security.Develop and maintain detection logic, correlation rules, and use cases to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.Perform alert triage and conduct deep investigations, executing playbooks and using SOAR to automate responses.Conduct threat detection and vulnerability assessments, integrating threat intelligence into existing detection workflows.Integrate SIEM with IAM solutions, ticketing tools, and endpoint security (EDR/XDR), including tools like Defender for Servers.Continuously monitor security events across the network, identifying potential threats and responding in a timely manner.Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance security protocols and implement best practices.Provide expertise and support in incident response and recovery processes, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.Qualifications5 years of handson experience with SIEM/SOAR tools, preferably Seceon, and incident response.Proficiency with security stacks such as Fortinet, Trend Micro, and Microsoft Defender/Sentinel.Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to work in a 24x7 SOC environment if required.Basic knowledge of offensive security concepts and familiarity with security frameworks.Experience in integrating security tools within complex IT environments to ensure seamless operations.Ability to develop and refine detection logic and use cases for improved threat identification and response.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders. .
