The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing and Planning solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Oracle Fusion Manufacturing (Discrete) Configure and support Oracle Fusion Discrete Manufacturing modules including: Work Definitions (Standard & Model) Work Orders (Discrete & Non-standard) Work Execution and Work Order Operations Resources, Work Centers, and Work Areas Standard Costing / Actual Costing integration Define and manage: Bills of Material (BOM) Routings and Operations UOMs, Item Attributes, and Manufacturing Parameters Support manufacturing transactions such as material issues, completions, scrap, and returns Integrate Manufacturing with Inventory, Cost Management, Quality, and Maintenance modules Oracle Fusion Planning Implement and support Oracle Fusion Planning Central modules: Demand Management Supply Planning Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Configure: Demand Classes and Forecast Profiles Planning Measures and Plan Options Sourcing Rules and Assignment Sets Safety Stock and Replenishment policies Perform plan runs, analyze exceptions, and recommend corrective actions Collaborate with business users to improve forecast accuracy and supply responsiveness Functional & Business Process Conduct requirement gathering workshops and map business requirements to Oracle Fusion functionality Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), Setup Documents, and Business Process Flows Perform system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment support Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations Integration & Reporting Work closely with technical teams on integrations using REST/SOAP, FBDI, and ADFdi Support data migration activities for items, BOMs, routings, and transactional data Assist in developing OTBI / BI Publisher reports for Manufacturing and Planning Stakeholder & Project Management Interact with business users, IT teams, and external partners Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users Support audits, compliance, and documentation requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM Manufacturing and Planning modules In-depth knowledge of Discrete Manufacturing business processes Strong understanding of MRP, MPS, Forecasting, and Capacity Planning concepts Experience in at least 12 end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations Good knowledge of Inventory, Cost Management, and Procurement integration Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Skills Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud releases and quarterly updates Exposure to Oracle Quality Management or Maintenance Cloud Knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis Experience working in manufacturing industries such as Automotive, Engineering, or Electronics Education Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent Oracle Fusion SCM certification is a plus Skills Oracle Fusion Manufacturing (Discrete) Oracle Fusion Planning Oracle SCM AI Agents Skills Oracle Fusion Discrete Manufacturing (Primary) Oracle Fusion Supply/Demand Planning (Secondary skill- Positive to Have) About Grant Thornton INDUS Grant Thornton INDUS comprises GT U.S. Shared Services Center India Pvt Ltd and Grant Thornton U.S. Knowledge and Capability Center India Pvt Ltd.
