Job Title: Plant Quality for Engine & Transmission Parts Job Location: Kharkhoda Experience Required: Diploma JE/ ER B.Tech AM/DM Job Role: - New Model Quality Stabilization - Defects Analysis & Process Benchmarking Job Responsibilities: - New Model Quality Stabilization In-plant (Documents Verification, Process Audits, Vehicle Inspection till Quality Stabilization) - Root Cause analysis of Chronic issues reported in Plants - Practices to improve quality in sustainable manner. - Conduct thorough Why-Why analysis for defects & root cause analysis. - Conduct detailed process audits to identify gap areas, recommend necessary action and regular follow ups to ensure implementation of decided action plan. - New Model Development/Mass Production, Process Audits, Part layout Inspection, Process Capability Competencies Skills: - Should have Working Experience in Automobile Industry (4/2 Wheeler) - Have hands on experience in 4W Power Train Components (Engine & Transmission) /parts processes Cylinder Head, Cylinder Block, Crankshafts, Conrod, Camshafts, Oil Pump, Water Pump, Piston, Chains, Belts, Shifting Shafts, Gears, Synchro-Rings, Shift tower, Fork, Case differential Gear levers, Cables, Tubular components proprietary parts like Injectors, Throttle Body etc - Understanding of drawing requirements & independently perform dimensional inspection of parts with conventional method (First Principle), CMM, Roughness tester, Contour, Vision system, Hardness tester, Lead profile tester - Process knowledge and experience in area of Casting (Ferrous & Non-Ferrous), Forging and Machining, Stamping, Gears Technology, Heat Treatment, Plastic/Rubber molding processes. - Understanding of basics of Welding (Spot/ TIG/ MIG), Brazing. Sound Knowledge of Metallurgy and raw materials used for Transmission /Engine Parts - Thorough Knowledge & Work Experience on PFMEA & New Model Quality Stabilization - Able to troubleshoot and identify root cause and implement countermeasures at supplier end using Quality Tools (5 Why / 8D etc.) - Computer Proficiency is essential for Proper Documentation, Data Study & Presentation skills - Openness, Positive Attitude to Work in Team & Good Communication Skills - Exposure in new model Development process, Mass Production Process & Quality systems (ISO/TS/IATF, applicable standards (IS / JIS / JASO Etc.) - Have Good Driving Experience for Verification & Analysis of Issues related to Dynamic Testing Specific Area of Expertise: - Problem Solving & Analysis of Chronic Defects - Thorough Knowledge of vehicle & Engine Manufacturing process - Work Experience in handling New Model & New Plants Quality Stabilization - Positive Knowledge of Casting (Ferrous & Non-Ferrous), Forging & Machining, Gear Manufacturing & Heat Treatment - Process 3G & audits for Defects analysis & Benchmarking - Data management for Defect Control Register & Hold Management .
