Purchase Executive (German) Location: Pune (Viman Nagar) Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 25 Years Key Responsibilities Execute procurement and purchasing activities in accordance with company policies and procedures. Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders. Coordinate with German-speaking suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, delivery schedules, and order confirmations. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply-related issues. Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor master data in SAP/ERP systems. Monitor purchase order status and proactively communicate updates to internal stakeholders. Support sourcing initiatives by obtaining quotations and conducting price comparisons. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance. Handle supplier communications via email and telephone in German and English. Ensure compliance with procurement processes, quality standards, and company policies. Prepare procurement reports and support continuous process improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related discipline. German language proficiency of B2 level or above (mandatory). 25 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain. Experience working with SAP (MM) or any ERP system. Good understanding of procurement lifecycle and purchase order management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in both German and English. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. .
