Material Planner A Materials Planner is a professional responsible for managing the flow of materials and inventory within an organization. They must also be able to effectively communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure that materials are delivered on schedule and at a competitive price. Additionally, they must be able to use advanced software and tools to manage inventory and production data. Overall, a Materials Planner is a vital member of any manufacturing or production team, responsible for ensuring that materials are available when needed, and that inventory levels are optimized to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products. Liaising with operations, manufacturing, and purchasing. Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
