As a Staff Nurse GNM, you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare to patients in a hospital setting. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of senior nursing staff. Key Responsibilities: - Patient Care: Provide basic nursing care to patients by checking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities. - Monitoring Patient Condition: Observe and record patient responses to treatments, keeping track of changes in their condition and reporting to the medical team. - Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment in accordance with hospital policies. - Hygiene and Safety: Ensure that all nursing practices adhere to hygiene standards and safety protocols to promote a safe environment for patients. Required Skills and Expectations: Candidates should possess a nursing diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent qualifications. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to assess and respond to patient needs effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with medical teams and interacting with patients and their families. A compassionate approach and the ability to handle stressful situations will be important in ensuring quality patient care.
