Senior Financial Controller US Accounting

Experience : 10 - 12 years in US Financial Controller Timing : 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM Location : Ahmedabad (Onsite) Preferred Qualification: CA / CPA Preferred Industry: Oil & Gas Industry Job Description : Own the full financial close process, including month-end and year-end close activities, accruals, financial statements, management reporting, and financial forecasting.Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial reporting in line with US GAAP and applicable client reporting requirements.Oversee revenue accounting and industry-specific accounting areas including Joint Interest Billing (JIB), AFEs, DD&A, ARO, and asset impairment accounting.Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and process governance frameworks.Lead and manage external audit coordination, support audit preparedness, and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.Monitor and ensure compliance with debt covenants, financing terms, and reporting obligations.Lead cash management activities, banking relationships, treasury coordination, and support matters relating to SOFR-based credit facilities and capital raise processes.Manage and review hedge accounting activities and coordinate effectively with counterparties and relevant stakeholders.Partner closely with operations and business teams on cost control initiatives, well economics, budgeting insights, and system/process improvements.Identify, recommend, and drive automation, standardization, and reporting enhancements across finance processes.Lead, mentor, review, and develop a team of 4 to 5 team members, ensuring high-quality output, accountability, and continuous capability building.Act as a strong client-facing finance leader, capable of presenting financial insights, explaining performance, and supporting decision-making with clarity and confidence. .
