Role: SDE Intern (Django) Duration: 6 Months Location: Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India (In office) Type: Full Time Internship Overview We are looking for a motivated Python Django Intern with strong fundamentals in Python and hands-on experience building projects using Django. The ideal candidate should have worked on at least one Django project and be comfortable with Django ORM queries and basic API development concepts. This internship is a outstanding opportunity to gain real-world experience working on scalable web applications. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Python and Django Write clean, productive, and reusable Python code Work with Django ORM to perform database operations and optimize queries Develop and consume RESTful APIs using Django/Django REST Framework Collaborate with senior developers on feature implementation and bug fixing Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices Debug, test, and improve application performance Required Skills Strong understanding of core Python concepts (data types, loops, functions, OOP) Hands-on experience with Django framework At least one Django project to showcase (academic, personal, or freelance) Positive knowledge of Django ORM queries (CRUD operations, filters, joins, relationships) Understanding of basic API principles (HTTP methods, status codes, request/response cycle) Familiarity with relational databases (SQLite, MySQL, or PostgreSQL) Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control Good to Have Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) Basic understanding of authentication and authorization Familiarity with frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Knowledge of deployment basics or cloud platforms .
