We are looking forward to hire Microsoft Fabric Professionals in the following areas : Job Description: Data Engineer (Mid-Senior) Experience Level: 5+ Years (Microsoft Fabric: 1-2 Years) Role Overview We are seeking a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design and implement scalable data solutions on Microsoft Fabric. You will be a key technical contributor, responsible for building end-to-end data pipelines, managing OneLake storage, and ensuring the reliability of Lakehouse and Warehouse environments. This role requires a professional who has already transitioned into the Fabric ecosystem and can independently deliver complex data engineering tasks. Key Responsibilities Fabric Pipeline Engineering: Design and develop production-grade ETL/ELT workflows using Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks. Data Lake Management: Implement and manage OneLake organization and Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to ensure data quality and performance. Advanced Spark Development: Write and optimize PySpark and Spark SQL code for high-volume data processing and transformation. Semantic Modeling: Build and maintain Power BI semantic models (Direct Lake / Import) to support enterprise reporting requirements. DevOps & Automation: Manage Fabric artifacts using Git integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) in Azure DevOps or GitHub. Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning of Spark clusters and SQL queries to ensure cost-efficient capacity utilization in Fabric. Collaboration: Partner with Lead Engineers and Architects to implement data governance, security (RLS/OLS), and cataloging within Microsoft Purview. Must-Have Skills Experience: 4+ years of overall data engineering experience. Microsoft Fabric: 1-2 years of proven, hands-on experience with core Fabric components (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and Data Factory). Core Technicals: Expert-level SQL and strong proficiency in PySpark. Data Architecture: Proven experience implementing dimensional models and Lakehouse patterns. Azure Foundations: Solid understanding of ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and Key Vault as they integrate with Fabric. Modern DevOps: Experience with Git-based version control and automated deployment workflows for data. Good-to-Have Skills Real-Time Intelligence: Experience with KQL or Eventstreams within the Fabric ecosystem. Migrations: Previous experience migrating workloads from Azure Synapse or Databricks to Fabric. Certifications: Microsoft DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate) or DP-700 (Fabric Data Engineer Associate). Governance: Exposure to data lineage and sensitivity labeling within Microsoft Purview. Soft Skills & Education Mindset: A quality-first approach with a strong "bias for action" in solving technical debt. Communication: Ability to clearly document technical designs and collaborate in a pod-based team structure. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related Engineering field.
