Job Summary:Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Developer with a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and React. As a part of our dynamic team, you will work on building engaging, responsive, and high-performance web applications. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the frontend architecture of web applications, ensuring smooth functionality and high performance. Collaborate with the UI/UX design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal user experience across different browsers and devices. Implement responsive design techniques to ensure applications are mobile-friendly. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions about architecture, features, and best practices. Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and implement improvements and innovations. Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic. Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable code libraries and frameworks. Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Solid experience with React.js and other modern frontend frameworks/libraries. Knowledge of frontend build tools and version control systems (Git, Webpack, NPM). Understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX. Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code. Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS is a plus. Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.) is an added advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience:2+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with HTML, CSS, and React. Proven track record of delivering frontend solutions for complex web applications. Experience with Agile development processes and tools like Jira or Trello. Previous work experience in creating web applications for both desktop and mobile devices is preferred. Working Hours:Full-time position with standard working hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), Monday through Friday. Occasional flexibility in working hours for project deadlines or collaboration with teams across different time zones. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot and fix issues efficiently. Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and improve skills.
