Job Description: Sr Electronics hardware Design engineer will be responsible for executing high-speed digital and mixed signal design projects for the Mark Vie product. You will work as part of the cross functional Global team of engineers creating and improving a state-of-the-art platform for use in every kind of power generation application. Essential Responsibilities As the Sr Electronics hardware Design engineer, you will: Engage in new product introduction (concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing hand-off) and product-sustenance. Interpret the system requirements and execute the high-speed digital, analog and mixed designs, accordingly, achieve the targets of solution reliability, System level FMEA, Safety, Regulatory compliance, Manufacturability, Backward compatibility, Maintenance, sustenance, field upgrades, solution cost and overall product life cycle CTQs. Lead and drive formal design reviews. Design, program and validate FPGA-based solutions for interfacing real-time microprocessor systems to high-speed Networks and I/O Conduct board level reliability analysis, component stress analysis and board level FMEA Instruct the layout engineer about the layout design aspects like stack, impedance matching, avoiding interference from switching currents, high speed signals Perform signal integrity analysis along with layout engineer. Validate the design from functional, thermal and pre compliance view. Track technology trends and drive innovations in the product. Look for failure trends in solutions and feed them back into process through suggestions on improvements. Analyze fleet level issues and lead/ participate in the RCAs. Support cost-out opportunities Participate in organizational initiatives Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor / Master in Electronics, Electronics & communication Engineering or equivalent. 12 + years of experience in digital, analog/Mixed circuit design /FPGA interfaces, system level analysis, Product/solution Development life cycle, safety, security requirements, solution Architecture, Design for Manufacturability & Reliability, Technical Regulations, and standards Hands on experience in dealing with circuit protections, EMI-EMC ( CS, EFT, Surge, RS, RE, ESD), Understanding of signal integrity. Proven analytical and organizational ability. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong oral and written communication skills Effective problem identification and solution skills Ability to Mentor and effective work in Cross-functional teams. Desired Characteristics Experience of Designing Digital Electronics, high speed design , Analog and mixed signal design, Dealing with design life cycle Proficiency in ECAD suite of tools from Cadence. Expertise in Signal Integrity and simulations Deep knowledge of compliance requirements. Hands on experience in Verilog HDL, FPGA development tools, simulation, packaging, and debug would be an added advantage. Experience in Agile methodology. .
