Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai for a MEP Design Engineer (PHE & Fire Fighting System). The role involves designing Public Health Engineering (PHE) and fire fighting systems for industrial and commercial projects, including preparation of detailed design drawings, schematics, and layouts. The engineer will perform hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and material selection to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. Daily responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, coordinating with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams, and supporting project managers with technical documentation and design revisions. The role also includes resolving design-related queries during installation, providing technical support to site teams, and contributing to design optimization for safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and optimization of water supply, drainage, sewage, and storm water systems. Independently handle firefighting system design including hydrants, sprinklers, wet risers, and fire suppression systems. Perform and validate hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, and system capacity planning. Ensure all designs comply with NBC, NFPA, IS codes, and local authority requirements.
