OverviewThe SAP PI/PO Consultant plays a crucial role in the integration of SAP systems with third-party applications and services. This pivotal position demands expertise in Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO) to enable seamless data flow across different systems. The consultant will collaborate closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to analyze integration needs, design effective solutions, and implement robust integration scenarios. With the rise of digital transformation initiatives, efficient integration solutions are essential in maximizing operational efficiency and ensuring data accuracy. As an immediate joiner, the candidate will also engage in ongoing system enhancements, troubleshooting, and providing guidance to junior team members. This role is critical not just for ensuring the technical efficacy of SAP integration scenarios but also for contributing to the overall strategy for digital enablement in the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement integration solutions using SAP PI/PO.Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze integration requirements.Create mapping specifications and work on integration flows.Develop and test integration scenarios for various business processes.Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces and ensure high availability.Provide effective documentation of integration designs and processes.Engage in performance tuning of existing integration processes.Participate in cutover planning and post-go-live support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.Assist in planning and executing integration testing.Mentor junior team members on PI/PO best practices.Stay updated on the latest SAP PI/PO features and enhancements.Provide input during project planning and scope definition.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance integration performance.Maintain client relationships and provide regular updates on project progress.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP PI/PO or relevant SAP integration tools.Strong understanding of integration technologies and protocols.Experience with mapping tools such as ESR and tooling capabilities.Knowledge of BPM workflows in SAP.Familiarity with web services and RESTful APIs.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience in project management methodologies.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Certifications in SAP PI/PO are a plus.Prior experience in client-facing roles is preferred.A proactive approach to continuous learning and development.Readiness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours as necessary. .
