Your Role and Day-to-day Tasks We are looking for an Experienced Software Engineer who enjoys working with modern cloud technologies and microservice-based architectures. As an Experienced Software Engineer, you mentor and guide less experienced engineers, share knowledge openly, and foster a culture of feedback and learning. You apply solid engineering practices in testing, operations, security, and documentation; and design solutions that follow architecture guidelines. You are comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone, constructively challenging existing approaches, and driving improvement. With a focus on quality and cost awareness, you design solutions that are robust, scalable, and efficient. You work independently while collaborating closely with your team to achieve shared goals. Key Competencies From 5+ years professional experience as a Back-end Software Engineer. hands-on knowledge in Go (Golang) Professional experience in Azure. Kubernetes expertise is mandatory, including operating microservice architectures. Practical experience in JUnit or similar testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development. Experience working in Agile teams (e.G., Scrum, SAFe or similar). Experience in DevOps as a way of working (with full lifecycle responsibility). Experience in CI/CD in production, Git, and certificate lifecycle management. At least a bachelors degree in computer science or related field. Fluent English (spoken and written). Additional Competencies AWS experience is beneficial (e.G., Lambda, EC2/ECS, SNS/SQS, IAM, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, API Gateway). Experience with Java, Python, Spring Boot, Maven. Experience of security concepts. Certifications in back-end frameworks or cloud platforms (e.G., Azure or AWS). Experience navigating and collaborating within international environments. Proven ability to thrive in flat organizational structures with minimal hierarchy. Background in working for global companies with diverse teams and cultures. Way of working & Location The work location for this role is our office in central Bangalore, India. At WirelessCar we believe in a hybrid work setup, with possibilities to work both from home and from the office. As a developer, you will be part of a newly formed cross-functional DevOps team, taking end-to-end responsibility for services from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance in a dynamic, large-scale delivery environment. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
