Anila Recruitment is supporting the recruitment of an experienced OOSH Centre Director for a brand new service near Canterbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OOSH leader to take ownership of a new service, establish a strong team culture and drive high-quality outcomes for children and families. The successful candidate will be confident leading an OOSH environment across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care, with strong knowledge of compliance, programming, staffing and service operations. The organisation is seeking a leader who is visible, hands-on and approachable — someone who can build strong relationships with educators and families while maintaining high standards across the service. With the centre being brand new, this role offers genuine scope to make your mark and influence how the service operates from the beginning. Role Details: Permanent full-time leadership position $50 per hour + Super (negotiable for the right candidate) Block shifts available Full operational oversight of a brand new OOSH service Leadership responsibility for educators and day-to-day service operations Lead and support the development of a strong team culture Oversee compliance, programming, staffing and quality improvement Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community About the Service: Brand new OOSH service near Canterbury Opportunity to make your mark from day one Focus on inclusion, child wellbeing and high-quality care Commitment to strong programming and continuous improvement Supportive environment focused on team development and quality outcomes Strong commitment to child safety About You: Previous experience in an OOSH leadership role such as Director, Coordinator, Nominated Supervisor, 2IC or Assistant Coordinator Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and requirements relevant to OSHC Strong knowledge of OOSH programming, compliance and child safety Confident managing staffing, rosters, family communication and day-to-day operations Diploma or relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, School Age Education or a related field highly regarded Current WWCC, First Aid and CPR Child Protection certification Why Join This Organisation?
