Role & Responsibilities: As a part-time French Language Teacher at Toorak College, you will demonstrate: A strong commitment to excellence in education and languages; A proven capacity for innovative, flexible and research-based teaching practice; An ability to develop lesson plans that meet educational standards if not surpass them; A demonstrated ability to differentiate and individualise learning to meet diverse student needs, abilities, interests and levels of language proficiency. Including the ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to effectively support a wide range of learners within the classroom; and The desire to work collaboratively within a high performing team setting. Specific classes and year levels taught will be determined according to the candidate’s expertise, experience, and operational requirements. Candidates with experience teaching across years 7-12, as well as offer expertise in additional subject areas will be highly regarded. About You: You are passionate about all things French and effortlessly adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Experience teaching international students within the mainstream classroom is considered advantageous. Qualifications & Requirements: Degree qualified in Secondary (Language) Education. VIT registration essential. Demonstrated experience and passion for teaching French years 7 - 12. Excellent communication skills and strong ability to connect with and motivate students.
