About the role We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts & Finance Executive to manage the accounting and finance functions for Wellnessday and its related companies. The ideal candidate should be able to handle full set accounts independently, have a good understanding of basic Malaysian tax matters, and provide accurate financial information to support management. Key responsibilities Able to handle full set accounts independently Handle monthly closing and prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and management reports Manage AP, AR, bank reconciliation, payment processing and account reconciliation Monitor cash flow, company expenses and financial position Maintain fixed asset records and relevant accounting schedules Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Handle E-Invoice and SST submission Handle basic company tax matters and prepare necessary supporting documents Prepare year-end schedules and supporting documents for audit Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and company secretary Handle e-commerce and inventory accounting/reconciliation Handle and monitor company renewals including insurance, road tax, licences and other relevant matters Maintain proper accounting records, documentation and compliance Support management on banking, accounting and finance-related matters Perform other reasonable accounting and finance duties assigned by Management About you Diploma, Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; 8 years or above preferred Strong experience in handling full set accounts independently Basic knowledge of Malaysian corporate tax and tax compliance Experience handling accounts for multiple companies is preferred Strong Excel and analytical skills Familiar with accounting software Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision Experience in e-commerce accounting (Shopee, Lazada & TikTok) will be an added advantage.
