You’ll be the go-to expert for complex building approvals, guiding decisions that impact thousands of residents. What You’ll Be Doing Lead assessment of complex statutory building proposals Provide expert compliance advice and resolve challenging cases Represent the City at hearings and tribunals with confidence Investigate breaches and drive enforcement outcomes Mentor and develop a high-performing team Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes Support the Principal Building Surveyor in strategic oversight Champion best practice and continuous improvement Qualifications What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a highly skilled professional with strong technical and leadership capabilities.
