Vineyard Operator

About the role Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our vineyards. This hands-on position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to develop your viticulture skills within a supportive and experienced team. Key responsibilities Spraying, slashing, hedging, cultivation, and mowing Monitoring vine health and vineyard conditions Safe operation of tractors and vineyard equipment Basic servicing and maintenance of machinery Reporting equipment faults and maintenance requirements Maintenance of vineyard irrigation systems, trellising, and infrastructure General repairs and upkeep across vineyard sites Vine training, pruning, canopy management, and foliage work Assisting with vineyard establishment, planting, and grafting programs Harvest support and seasonal vineyard activities About you Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current driver's licence Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual work Commitment to workplace safety practices Previous vineyard, farming, horticultural, or agricultural experience Experience operating tractors or agricultural machinery Forklift licence Chemical User Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Basic mechanical and maintenance skills About us Pizzini Wines is a proudly family-owned winery located in the heart of Victoria's beautiful King Valley.
