About us Family Vet Centre have been caring for the pets of the border for 15 years. We offer daycare, short stay boarding and long term boarding for both cats and dogs. In conjunction with our veterinary clinics, we aim to provide high quality care for all pets, from the most precious fur-babies to the hardiest working dogs. We are passionate about pets and we want their experience with us to be so good, they can't wait to come back next time! About the role You will provide high quality care to boarders, ensuring each pet is happy, healthy and enjoying their stay. Your strong communication skills and friendly demeanor will ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for customers. Strong organisational skills and a positive approach to problem solving will keep the day running smoothly. Qualifications & experience Professional pet care experience preferred. Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary industry experience is advantageous. Customer service experience is advantageous. Don't have any relevant experience? That's ok! General cleaning duties. Handling customer inquiries and creating bookings. Admission and discharge of pets. Providing general support to veterinary staff. Must be able to work broken shifts (7am - 11am & 2pm - 6pm). Will be required for some weekends and public holidays.
