PLEASE READ THIS JOB ADVERTISEMENT CAREFULLY You would start as a Trainee Rig Operator of CPT equipment and be trained to become a Rig Operator. We provide all training. To Start the below is Essential: A manual licence is essential, with the ability to acquire a Truck Licence (HR unrestricted), in the near future, i.e. a clean driving record is important. Must provide a recent Traffic History Report from QLD Transport (or other state equivalent). A White Card (General Construction Induction) is essential – this can be obtained during a 1 day course online. Good computer skills , particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite Organised The freedom to travel a lot . Civil and/or Construction Industry experience is beneficial, however, if you are keen to learn, we would definitely consider you for the position. A safe and professional attitude is essential to be successful in this role. You must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests . We are looking for somebody to start straight away. This long-term role would require: Operation of truck and all-terrain based Rigs on civil infrastructure and mining projects Australia wide and occasionally overseas. Mobilise equipment in different states Perform prestart checks and maintenance of testing equipment and rigs Conduct various testing to high standards Communicate with interested parties and report to clients Work in accordance with IGS OH&S systems This position would suit a reliable, enthusiastic, flexible, organised, positive, fit and healthy individual who is willing to learn different testing methods and travel interstate.
