Experienced Excavator/ Skid Steer Operator

Due to growth in our company, BTR Excavations requires an experienced full-time Excavator/Skid Steer operator. Working with detailed location plans, you will ideally have at least 3 years experience in this field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in digging trenches and levelling, digging around live assets, as well as loading and driving trucks. A solid understanding of earthworks and trench excavation is essential, along with a strong commitment to safety and familiarity with various types of plant and equipment. Position: Monday - Friday with flexibility for Saturday or nightworks (dependent on workload) Location: Start/Finish in Waterloo Corner SA Responsibilities: Excavating around known and located asset Relocation of water meters utilising mini 1.8T Excavator Skid Steer operations Clearing/levelling blocks Trenching, grading & backfilling Sewer Mains Conduct routine equipment inspections Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines Maintaining and cleaning the work site Requirements: Excavator ticket Proven experience as a Civil Construction Excavator Operator General Construction Induction Card (White Card) Proven experience digging around live assets Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and safety protocols Ability to work overtime, weekends or nights when required Able to work as part of a team HC License Benefits: Job security - ongoing work Full-time position Weekly phone allowance Meal allowances Immediate start We are a socially diverse workforce and actively encourage indigenous and first nations persons to apply for the role.
