Senior Revenue Officer – Accounts Receivable Ongoing Full Time Salary: $86,214 pa + super + 19-day month Location: Ringwood Maroondah City Council is seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Officer – Accounts Receivable to deliver accurate, timely and customer-focused revenue services across invoicing, direct debits, reconciliations, banking and sundry debt management. About the role Working as part of a dedicated, customer-focused team, your responsibilities will include: Providing high-level customer service to internal and external customers via telephone, email and face-to-face. Processing invoices, statements, credits, refunds, adjustments and direct debit arrangements. Coordinating daily banking imports and reconciliations. Reviewing aged debtor reports and following up outstanding accounts. reparing monthly accounts receivable to general ledger reconciliations and management reports. Investigating and resolving complex debtor, invoicing, payment and account enquiries. Processing waste charge requests and assisting with Special Charge Schemes. Providing guidance to staff on invoicing options, systems and procedures. Assist with the administration and processing of other revenue activities within the Property, Revenue and Valuation Services area. What we’re looking for The ideal candidate will have: Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in rates, revenue or accounts receivable. Experience using financial or revenue management systems to process invoices, payments, direct debits, refunds and reconciliations. Experience reviewing aged debts, preparing reports and resolving financial discrepancies. Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving and financial literacy skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, manage priorities and provide guidance to colleagues as a senior staff member.
