Social and Digital Media Officer

Actively participate as a member of a team of social and digital media professionals to develop and deliver innovative social and digital media strategies and campaigns. Contribute to maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues across the DoJ and broader justice portfolio, other Queensland Government agencies, and key stakeholders across the justice system. Provide advice to clients on social and digital media outputs and delivery within established strategies. Research, write and disseminate high quality social and digital media outputs, including short-form video content, for a variety of platforms and across a variety of justice topics. Create unique, visually compelling content for a range of social media channels using software such as the Adobe suite or Canva. Work closely with the communications, digital, creative and online teams to deliver communications tools and tactics, in line with agreed strategies. Build and maintain a sound knowledge of each of the account management areas, identifying areas where communication support is appropriate based on their objectives, projects, opportunities, and challenges.
