We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Recycling Team Member to join the landfill and resource recovery operations team at EnviroNZ Taupo!. This hands-on role is focused on helping divert recyclable materials from landfill, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and supporting efficient site operations. You will work as part of a team sorting recyclable materials, assisting customers and contractors, and helping ensure environmental and safety standards are met at all times. Key Responsibilities Sort and recover recyclable materials from incoming waste streams Assist with the safe operation of recycling and waste management areas Direct and assist customers using the recycling facilities Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the site Identify hazardous or prohibited materials and report issues promptly Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures Work collaboratively with team members and site operators Assist with general labouring and operational duties as required What We’re Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Good communication and teamwork skills Previous experience in waste management, recycling, labouring, or similar industries is an advantage but not essential
