Site Manager

About the role Village is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Site Manager to join our friendly housing team. This full-time role reports directly to the Construction Manager. You will lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, trades and subcontractors for multi-million-dollar townhouse and civil projects. Key responsibilities Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, trades and subcontractors for multi-million-dollar townhouse and civil projects Ensure daily operations align with project plans, program, and Construction Manager direction Provide practical construction input throughout the design and pre-construction phases of townhouse developments including buildability, staging, methodology and value engineering reviews Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to Foremen and site teams Develop and manage the construction program, ensuring progress aligns with time, cost and quality benchmarks Drive sequencing, scheduling, site set-out and defect-free delivery across projects Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of labour, materials and plant Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, NCC requirements and company standards Coordinate civil contractors, authorities and infrastructure works Promote and maintain a superior safety culture About you Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager, Senior Foreman or similar supervisory role Demonstrated experience managing townhouse developments and associated civil works Experience coordinating multiple work fronts, subcontractors and project stakeholders Experience supervising and mentoring site teams Building Licence preferred Trade Qualification preferred Building/Construction Degree, Diploma or Certificate preferred Strong understanding of residential construction methodologies, NCC requirements and quality standards Strong leadership, communication and trade coordination skills Sound understanding of WHS legislation and site safety requirements About us Village Building Co. has been creating communities where people live, work, laugh, play and spend time together since 1988 — and we're excited for the next 30 years of connecting people.
