Hammerhand Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Hammerhand to join a busy construction team in Central City, Christchurch. If you’re confident on the tools and ready to put your practical building skills to work, we want to hear from you. Location: Central City, Christchurch Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $28–$32 per hour + weekly pay What You'll Be Doing Assist qualified carpenters with day-to-day construction tasks Carry out framing, formwork, cladding, and fit-out work Measure, cut, and prepare building materials accurately Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Complete site preparation and material handling as required Work alongside other trades to keep projects progressing Maintain safe, organised, and tidy work areas What We're Looking For Previous Hammerhand or hands-on construction experience Practical understanding of building methods and construction processes Confident using a range of hand and power tools Able to follow plans, measurements, and instructions accurately Full NZ driver licence and reliable transport Site Safe preferred or willingness to obtain it Physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a crew What's in It for You?
