About Barrie Arnold Pty Ltd is a large scale broadacre and irrigation farm comprising of both winter and summer cropping, as well as a mixed livestock enterprise that spreads across several farms totalling to 8,000 ha. Barrie Arnold Pty Ltd is looking to employ an enthusiastic and willing individual with minimum 2 years Agricultural Machinery Plant Operator experience to join the family farming enterprise. Drivers licence essential. Truck licence essential – MR, HR or MC. Provide minimum two employment references for experience confirmation. Essential Requirements Experience is essential, minimum 2 years’ experience with large farm machinery including trucks, tractors and harvesters. Accommodation and vehicle for work and private use provided to the approved candidate. Tasks include o preparing and positioning plant for operation o operating tractor - drawn and self-propelled plant to plough land and sow, fertilise, cultivate and harvest crops, and avoid damaging crops o adjusting speed, height and depth of implements o operating plant to hold, lift and cut trees o servicing plant and performing minor repairs o Irrigation management o Ability to work independently and within a team environment Renumeration Successful Employment, we are offering salary package of: Salary range starting from $79,499 plus 12% superannuation, on-farm accommodation, work and private use vehicle for the right candidates
