QA Automation Engineer (Junior-Mid) Location: True Digital Park, BTS Punnawithi (Hybrid) Experience: 1–2 years About the Role This role is designed for QA engineers who are passionate about automation testing and want to grow into strong automation-focused QA professionals. The position is primarily focused on QA automation work (~90%) , with occasional manual testing responsibilities (~10%) when required. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing automated test frameworks, developing automated test cases, supporting CI/CD testing processes, monitoring test execution results, and improving overall product quality and test stability. You will work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle in a collaborative SaaS environment. Although this is an automation-focused role, candidates are still expected to have strong QA fundamentals and a solid testing mindset. Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts for web-based SaaS applications. Execute and monitor automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test execution results, investigate failures, and improve automation reliability and stability. Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify test scenarios early in the development lifecycle. Create and maintain reusable automation testing frameworks and test utilities. Perform occasional manual testing (~10%) for functional validation, exploratory testing, and release verification when necessary. Investigate, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence. Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and release readiness activities. Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency. Stay updated with modern testing tools, automation best practices, and QA trends. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in software QA or automation testing roles. Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks. Good understanding of software testing fundamentals, including functional, regression, and integration testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution workflows. Basic scripting or programming skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar). Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Nice to Have Experience testing SaaS products or enterprise web applications. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Experience with Git, Docker, or cloud-based testing environments. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes. Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
