Position: Assistant HR Manager Location: RMA City Motor Rama 4 (Ford RMA) Business type: Automotive Dealership Role overview: This role will serve as a key HR business partner to dealership operations, supporting employees and managers across vehicle sales, aftersales service, workshops, parts, and corporate support functions. The position covers HR operations, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, learning & development, employee engagement, and HR compliance. This role does not have direct responsibility for recruitment and talent acquisition activities. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Relations Manage day-to-day HR operations and administration. Ensure employee records, contracts, and HR documentation are accurate and up to date. Advise managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations matters, and workplace issues. Support disciplinary processes, investigations, and grievance management in accordance with company policies and Thai labor law. Prepare HR reports, workforce statistics, and management information. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Coordinate payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, commissions, incentives, and employee changes. Administer employee benefits, welfare programs, insurance, provident fund, leave, and social security. Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and HR policies. Performance Management Coordinate performance review processes, goal setting, probation evaluations, and development planning. Support managers in addressing performance concerns and improvement plans. Monitor performance management compliance across departments and branches. Learning & Development Identify training needs and coordinate annual training plans. Organize internal and external training programs. Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records. Support leadership, technical, customer service, and employee development initiatives. Employee Engagement & Culture Plan and coordinate employee engagement and recognition activities. Conduct employee surveys, exit interviews, and feedback initiatives. Recommend programs to improve engagement, retention, and workplace culture. HR Compliance Ensure compliance with Thai labor law and company policies. Support audits, labor inspections, and compliance reviews. Monitor employment legislation updates and recommend policy improvements. HR Business Partnership Partner closely with dealership leaders to provide practical HR solutions that support business performance. Support workforce planning, employee movements, promotions, and organizational changes. Travel to branches, dealerships, and workshops as required. Team Leadership Supervise and develop HR team members. Provide coaching, guidance, and support on HR best practices. Support HR projects and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of HR experience covering multiple HR disciplines. At least 3 years in a supervisory, Senior HR Generalist, or Assistant HR Manager role. Experience supporting automotive dealerships, automotive service businesses, multi-branch operations, retail networks, or similar environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of Thai labor law, employee relations, payroll, compensation & benefits, and HR operations. Experience supporting diverse employee groups including sales, technicians, service staff, operational employees, and office-based teams. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems. Able to travel to various business locations when required.
