About the role Join us at our newly refurbished workshop on Glenda Drive. We are a looking for a passionate individual with the experience in cabinetry making. Successful candidate will be working as a part of the growing team, where the main work is focused on the joinery and finishing work in high-end luxury homes. As a Cabinetmakers you will construct, install, and repair wooden fittings and furniture, including cabinets, cupboards, and other timber items, using hand and machine tools. Key responsibilities Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements Selecting and preparing timber and other materials Marking out and cutting timber, veneers, and other panel products to size Shaping components using hand tools and woodworking machinery (saws, planers, routers, etc.) Assembling components using glue, nails, screws, and joinery techniques Fitting hinges, locks, and other hardware to cabinets and furniture Sanding, staining, and applying polish, varnish, or other finishes Installing fittings such as kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and shop fixtures on-site Repairing and restoring furniture and cabinetwork What we offer Work on high-end luxury projects in beautiful Queenstown Work in a young professional team Competitive salary Use of a company vehicle for the right candidate We will help with the accommodation search Minimum of 30hrs/week guaranteed Full time job.
