We are a small, privately owned GP veterinary clinic in the heart of Lambton, Newcastle, and we are looking for a Veterinary Associate to join our friendly team. About us Elder St Vets is a re-branded Lambton Vet Clinic and is proudly privately owned, with no ties to the large corporate veterinary groups . We have a fresh, newly fitted-out clinic with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing us to provide a high standard of medical and surgical care while maintaining the warm, personal feel of a local GP practice. Located on vibrant Elder Street, just moments from Lambton Park, our team consists of passionate vets and experienced, qualified veterinary nurses who genuinely care about our patients, clients and each other. We have a varied and interesting caseload and enjoy working cases up thoroughly, sharing knowledge and supporting one another. About the role We are looking for a Veterinary Associate with a minimum of 12 months' small animal experience . Part-time or full-time (Option to start immediately) Minimum 3 shifts per week, with flexibility for the right person Every second Saturday morning, 9am–12pm Some sole-charge days will be required Varied consulting and surgical caseload Above-award remuneration, reflective of your experience and skills About you We are looking for someone who is: Qualified and registered to practise veterinary medicine Confident in a small animal GP environment Interested in both consulting and surgery Enjoys working cases up thoroughly and providing high-quality patient care A warm and approachable communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients Comfortable working independently while also enjoying being part of a small team Keen to learn, develop and contribute to our practice Kind, positive and genuinely enjoys what they do Why Elder St Vets?
