Veterinary nurse

We currently have a casual or full time position for a qualified, experienced nurse. We are a small family owned practice in beautiful Rosewood. We are looking for a new enthusiastic, well presented, reliable person to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this position include: Compassion, experienced handling/ restraint skills with animals. Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, and equipment involved. Undertaking general nursing tasks, including but not limited to surgical procedures, patient care, pathology, emergencies, and critical care patients. Providing support for outdoor procedures if required. Delivering outstanding customer service/phone skills to all clients. Ability to be flexible in day to day tasks. The Ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise: A Veterinarian nurse that has completed Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with in clinic experience. Minimum 6-12 months of in-clinic veterinary nursing experience required. Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative Ability to work as a team player and take direction Willingness and enthusiasm to learn Ability to work some weekends Must be available for occasional weekend work as required. Must have drivers license Visa sponsorship available for suitable international candidates.
