Carpenter / 4th Year Apprentice Carpenter Irons Builders Pty Ltd – Wagga Wagga, NSW Full-time position Irons Builders is seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter or experienced 4th Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team. Based in Wagga Wagga, we undertake residential insurance repairs, renovations and general building works throughout Wagga Wagga and surrounding regional areas. We are open to applicants with any level of relevant residential carpentry experience . You may be a qualified carpenter, an experienced carpenter looking for a change, or a fourth-year apprentice ready to continue developing your trade within a varied building environment. About the role Your work will include: Residential repairs, maintenance and renovation work General carpentry, framing, fix-outs and building tasks Insurance repair and reinstatement projects Working alongside builders, supervisors and subcontractors Travelling to job sites throughout Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas Maintaining clean, safe and organised work sites Communicating professionally with clients, property owners and other trades About you We are looking for someone who has: Carpentry or residential building experience A current Australian driver licence and reliable transport A current White Card Your own basic tools Good practical skills and attention to detail A reliable, punctual and professional attitude The ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer-service skills A willingness to take on a variety of repair and building work Experience in residential repairs, renovations, maintenance or insurance building work would be an advantage, however it is not essential. Fourth-year apprentices are encouraged to apply.
