St Patrick's College Townsville is seeking caring, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our Boarding House team as Casual Boarding Supervisors . This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young women by helping create a safe, supportive and enriching home away from home for our boarding students. Working as part of a dedicated Boarding Team, you will support the wellbeing, personal development and day-to-day care of students within one of North Queensland's leading boarding communities. About the Role As a Casual Boarding Supervisor, you will support the delivery of a safe, nurturing and well-managed boarding environment. You will work closely with students and colleagues to promote student wellbeing, positive behaviour and engagement in boarding life. This position operates on a casual, rostered basis during school terms and may include morning and afternoon shifts, split shifts, evening duties, overnight sleepovers and weekend work. Shifts are offered based on operational requirements and staff availability. Key responsibilities include: Providing supervision and support for boarding students. Promoting a safe, inclusive and positive boarding environment. Supporting student wellbeing, routines and daily activities. Assisting with attendance, pastoral care and behaviour management processes. Responding appropriately to student needs and incidents as they arise. Maintaining appropriate records and complying with College policies and procedures. Contributing positively to the culture and operation of the Boarding House. About You You are a positive and community-minded individual who: Has an interest in supporting the wellbeing and development of young people. Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills. Builds positive and respectful relationships with students and colleagues. Exercises sound judgement, professionalism and integrity. Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Is flexible and available to work a variety of rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleepovers. Is currently studying or has qualifications in education, psychology, social work, nursing, health sciences, youth work or a related field (highly regarded). Why Join St Patrick's College Townsville?
