The Opportunity: Live and Work in Mount Gambier Our Porta Mount Gambier facility is growing rapidly, with a major construction development taking place over the next 5–7 years and ongoing work well beyond that. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the planning and scheduling function of our Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams. Partnering with key stakeholders, you will contribute to the operational success of the site by: Undertaking planning and scheduling for work centres using our CMMS (Mainpac). Contributing to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies for fixed plant infrastructure to ensure optimal availability. Assisting in the execution of major plant outages and annual shutdown plans. Providing coaching and support for work management processes and RCA data collection. Ensuring all work packs (labour, parts, tasks, costs) are maintained and accurate. Liaising with Supply to expedite parts and contractor labour. Producing regular reports on efficiency (Work Management Metrics) and equipment component life tracking. About You As our preferred candidate, you will bring: Qualifications: Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). Experience: 1–2 years in a Planner or Supervisor role, ideally within timber, heavy industry, or high-volume manufacturing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CMMS (Mainpac, SAP, Pronto, or similar) and Microsoft Office (Project, Excel). Mindset: A strong commitment to safety, 5S, TPM, and LEAN methodologies. Attributes: Exceptional organisational abilities, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to make critical business decisions under deadlines. As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination (including functional, audiometric, vision, and drug/alcohol testing).
