Core Responsibilities: • Process monthly payroll accurately and within the stipulated timeline. • Verify and update employee payroll information, including salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and statutory contributions. • Ensure compliance with employment laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/Income Tax, etc.). • Prepare payroll related letters /e-Letters for employees and communicated to the relevant parties before the changes are taking effects to manage the expectations. • Escalate unresolved issues within reasonable timeline to higher management for advice and mandate • Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for management review. • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data confidentiality. • Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely resolutions. • Process new hires, resignations, salary increments, promotions, and other payroll-related changes. • Coordinate with Finance and relevant departments on payroll matters. • Assist in annual payroll-related activities, including EA forms and statutory submissions. • Monitor leave records, attendance, and overtime data for payroll processing. • Generate payroll journals and supporting documentation for audit purposes. • Participate in HR projects and perform other duties assigned by management. Job Specifications: • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration or HR operations. • Good knowledge of Employment Act, payroll regulations, and statutory requirements. • Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines. • Experience with Payroll Software in using payroll software
