About the role To support the company's daily accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, month-end closing and statutory compliance, while maintaining accurate and complete records. Key responsibilities Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger records and journal entries. Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, official receipts and payment schedules. Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with e-Invoicing, SST and other statutory requirements. Monitor outstanding payables and coordinate supplier payments and follow-ups. Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for audits and tax submissions. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks and government authorities when required. Maintain complete accounting records using QuickBooks and Google Drive. Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Job Requirement Diploma, bachelor's degree or postgraduate diploma in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification. At least two years of accounting, accounts payable or related finance experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with good attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and maintain a service-oriented approach. Proficient in the use of computers, cloud-based document management systems and accounting software. Willing and able to use approved AI applications, including ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity. Able to use digital and AI tools responsibly while preserving confidentiality and safeguarding company and financial information. Possess knowledge of or experience in implementing new tax regulations, such as SST or GST, and be willing to keep up to date with future tax changes. Food and beverage industry experience is an added advantage.
