Job Description 1. Ensure the Group complies with all cross-border and local tax regulations in Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia etc., including corporate tax, withholding tax, sales/VAT tax, transfer pricing, and BEPS 2.0 (Pillar Two); 2. Work with external tax agents to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns, statutory filings, and government-requested statistical data; 3.Maintain monthly sales, VAT, and withholding tax compliances in individual jurisdictions, providing summary reports and tax provisions to HQ for audits and Corporate Income Tax submission; 4.Maintain organized and accurate tax records and documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements, and report regularly to management; 5.Identify tax-saving opportunities (e.g., e-commerce marketplace taxes, SaaS digital taxes, or customs/FTA exemptions), evaluate project revenue/cost structures, and provide risk evaluation summaries to HQ; 6.Recommend and execute strategies to minimize tax liabilities while remaining in full compliance with international tax laws; 7.Stay current on changes in tax laws and global regulations (e.g., Pillar Two / GloBE rules) and assess their operational impact to provide clear guidance based on tax research; 8. Manage and oversee regional tax audits, requests, and queries by tax authorities; coordinate responses and provide documentation as needed; 9. Build and maintain strong relationships with external tax agents, auditors, and government authorities across APAC. Requirements: 1.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax, with 3 – 5 years of relevant tax experience; a combination of "Big 4" tax advisory and commercial/in-house tax experience is preferred; 2.Broad advisory and compliance experience across Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, and BEPS 2.0 / Pillar Two; 3.Extensive experience in regional tax management, ideally within an APAC setting; 4.Sector experience in Cross-border E-commerce, SaaS, or Supply Chain/Manufacturing is a strong advantage; 5.Strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded, with excellent communication and analytical skills; 6.Able to work independently and liaise with requisite government departments and external auditors; 7.Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin (to liaise with and handle queries from HQ and Mandarin-speaking associates).
