Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary payments. Verify payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, allowances, incentives, deductions, unpaid leave, and other payroll adjustments. Process statutory contributions and deductions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, HRD Corp , and other applicable requirements. Prepare payroll reports, reconciliation, payroll journals, and supporting documents for Finance and management. Maintain accurate employee payroll records, salary information, bank details, and statutory information in the HRIS/payroll system. Handle employee enquiries related to salary, payslips, deductions, statutory contributions, and payroll matters. Process final salary calculations for resigned or terminated employees, including leave balances and other applicable payments or deductions. Support annual payroll activities including EA Forms, tax reporting, employee tax information, and year-end payroll reconciliation. Ensure payroll practices comply with company policies, employment legislation, tax requirements, and statutory regulations. Coordinate with HR, Finance, department heads, and external agencies to resolve payroll discrepancies and related matters. Maintain confidentiality and proper control of employee compensation and payroll information. Support payroll audits, internal controls, system improvements, and other Compensation & Benefits activities when required. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting , or related discipline. Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on payroll experience . Good knowledge of Malaysian payroll requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD and employment regulations . Experience handling payroll systems or HRIS; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage. Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Able to work independently and meet strict monthly payroll deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
