Accounts Executive

BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITES: The minimum performance expectations include, but are not limited to, the tasks listed below. Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate work load and organisational needs.  Maintain and update Customer's Files and Customer's File Checklist.  Prepare sales status and progress reports.  Maintains a clean and safe work. Observes and promotes safe work practices and procedures.  Reports all accidents and/or potential hazards to the Quality Assurance Manager immediately.  Complies with and supports division regulations and policies.  Models non-discriminatory practices in all activities.  Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with division policies and practices.  Good time management skills as well as ability to recommend improvements and changes are a must.  To interact closely with other departments of the organization, corporate and sister companies on matters requiring contribution. ACCOUNT  Assists in quarterly reporting, group financial analysis and preparation of group financial statements.  Prepares full set of company accounts.  Prepares the yearly budget of the company and assist in the preparation of other related companies’ budget.  Responsible for taxation and audit matters.  Assists management in any matters and assignment as and when necessary EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum of 5 years experience in related field.  STPM / Diploma / Degree holder.  Prefer Vocational and/or College Certificate.  Language – Prefer English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Good command of the English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia language, both written and spoken.  Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.  Able to work in a team and/or able to work independently.  Excellent academic background of at least a Diploma in Finance/Accounting or partial professional accounting qualification.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Efficient in planning and execution of assignment to meet tight deadlines.
