About the role Handle full set of accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports. Maintain the General Ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and cash flow. Perform intercompany reconciliations and support group financial consolidation. Key responsibilities Handle full set of accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports Maintain the General Ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and cash flow Perform intercompany reconciliations and support group financial consolidation Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and regulatory authorities on statutory compliance matters Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016 and other applicable regulations Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to support business decisions Review payment requests, staff claims and supporting financial documents Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls and financial SOPs Assist with tax matters, SST compliance and statutory submissions where applicable Perform any other accounting and finance duties assigned by Management Job requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent) will have an added advantage Minimum 5 years and above of relevant accounting experience Strong knowledge of full set accounting and financial reporting Experience in group consolidation and intercompany accounting is an added advantage Good understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation and statutory requirements Experience liaising with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount or similar systems Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Able to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities Language Requirement Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese . Fluency in both languages is required.
