HRIS Specialist

HRIS Officer We are seeking a results-driven HRIS Officer to oversee, optimize, and maintain our core Human Resources Information System (HRIS). In this role, you will bridge the gap between HR processes and IT infrastructure. Whether your background is in HR technology or IT systems management, you will leverage both technical expertise and project management skills to ensure our HR systems run smoothly, adapt to business growth, and deliver an exceptional user experience across all operational modules. Key Responsibilities System Administration & HRIS Management Act as the primary administrator for the company’s HRIS platform, managing core workflows (e.g., Core HR, Attendance, Leave, Performance Management, Onboarding, and Payroll integrations). Configure system workflows, business logic, custom fields, approval chains, and user security roles to align with company policies. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical bugs or integration issues, and coordinate with vendor support teams for complex resolutions. Stay updated on system feature updates, evaluate new capabilities, and manage testing and rollout for platform enhancements. Project Management & System Implementation Lead HR technology projects from initiation to deployment, including new system implementations, module rollouts, and process automation. Define project scope, establish timelines, track milestones, and manage cross-functional deliverables between HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors. Drive change management strategies, ensuring seamless adoption of new digital tools and features across the organization. Data Integrity, Reporting & Analytics Ensure strict data security, privacy compliance, and integrity across all HR system databases. Build, maintain, and schedule standard and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards for leadership (e.g., headcount tracking, turnover, attendance metrics). Perform regular system audits to maintain high master data accuracy and resolve discrepancies proactively. User Support & Training Serve as the main point of contact for end-user support, addressing escalated queries from employees, HR administrators, and people managers. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and user guides for system functionality. Conduct training sessions for administrators and staff to promote self-service features and ensure system compliance. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience managing, configuring, or administering enterprise HRIS platforms. Skills & Competencies Project Management: Proven ability to manage tech implementation projects, create project plans, track deliverables, and align cross-departmental stakeholders. Technical & Analytical Expertise: Strong problem-solving skills with high proficiency in data manipulation and reporting (e.g., advanced Excel, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation). Process Mapping: Ability to translate complex HR policies and operational requirements into streamlined, automated system workflows. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical end users and executives alike.
